Elkin on 28 August 1867 at Madison County, Kentucky.2,3 Armelda Elizabeth Patterson moved on 29 September 1881 to Indiana.3 She died on 30 October 1896 at age 68.1 She was buried after 30 October 1896 at College Hill Cemetery, College Hill, Kentucky.1
