     William Thorn was born in 1693 at Dorsetshire, England.2,3 He married Mary Peck circa 1718 at Stafford County, Virginia.4,5,6 William Thorn appeared on the tax list at Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia, Tobacco Tenders List in 1724.7,8 He, Mary Peck, Margaret O'Rear and John Glasscock sold 100 acres of land in Stafford County (and held in trust for Margaret) to Cornelius McCarty in 1733 at King George County, Virginia. William Thorn married Sarah (?) before 1748.9 William Thorn died circa April 1761.9
