And Sole & Only Proprietor of ye Northern Neck of Virginia to all whom this present writing shall come send greeting in our Lord God Everlasting WHEREAS John Orea of ye County of Stafford hath sett ____ to my Office on behald of his son Danl Orea an Infant yt there is a certain quantity of Land belonging to me in ye sd. County Which is not yet Granted did on ye __ day of Decr. obtain a warrt. from my office for laying out yt same in ye name of the sd. Infant and yt sd. John Orea father of yt sd. Infant having obtained another Warrt. on behalf of himself & ye sd. Danl. hath assigned & made Over ye Land specifyed on ye above Warrt. unto Thomas Botts of Richmd. County As Appears by Assignmt. Upon ye back of ye sd. Warrt. under ye hand of ye sd. John Orea dated ye ___ day of June 1711. And ye sd. Tho. Botts having returned a Survey thereof under the hand of Thomas Hooper Survey&. KNOW YEE therefore yt. I for & in consideration of ye Composicon to me paiod & ye annuall Rent hereafter reserved Have Granted made Over & Confirmed and by these psents do Grant Make Over and Confirm Unto yt. sd. Thomas Botts One Hundd. & Ninety Eight Acres of Land Scituate lying & being on yt head of the branches of ye Middle Run of Chapawamsick in ye County of Stafford Aforsd. & bounded According to ye sd. Surveyas followeth VIZ: begining at a marked wte. Oak Standing on ye North side of ye sd. Run & Extending thence North twenty Eight Pole to a wte. Oak thence North West One Hundd. & Fourty four Pole to a red Oak Standing by a small branch thence South Sixty Six degrees West, fifty four pole to a Small Spanish Oak thence North fourty seven degrees West thirty poles to Spanish Oak thence South thirty two degrees West twenty poles Crossing ye sd. Run to a small wte. Oak thence South Eleven degrees East thirty two pole to a small wte. Oak thence South thirty Eight degrees East two hundd. & Eighty Six pole to a wte. Oak thence North Sixty degrees East fifty two Pole to t[wo red Oak Saplins standing together at ye head of a _Vlley_[?] thence North Eighteen degrees East twenty Pole to a hiccory thence East Nineteen Pole to a Poplar Standing in a Valley thence North twenty Eight degrees East thirty Pole to ye Begining Together &c To Have and To Hold &c Yeilding &c Paying&c Provided &c Given &c Dated the seventh day of November In ye Tenth Year of tye Reign of our Soveereign Lady Anne of Great Brittain France and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith &c.
